Privacy Policy
This policy says what this website collects, where that information goes, and how to reach me about it. Kinetic Inquiry LLC is a one-person Feldenkrais® practice in Kirkland, Washington, run by Laura Yedwab. “I” and “me” below mean that practice.
What this site collects
- Booking a consultation. The booking calendar on this site is ScheduleOnce, made by OnceHub. What you enter into it, e.g., your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the notes, goes to OnceHub and then to me, so that I can confirm the appointment. You can read OnceHub’s privacy notice on their site.
- Email and phone. If you write or call, I keep your message and your contact details so I can answer and so I know we have spoken.
- Site usage. This site uses Google Analytics, through Google’s standard tag, to count visits and to show me which pages people read. It records things like which pages you open, roughly where you are, and what kind of device you are using, and it sets cookies to do that. You can read Google’s privacy policy on their site.
- Server records. The company that hosts this site records the usual technical details of each visit: the IP address, the browser, and which pages were requested. The site also keeps its own log of administrative activity, e.g., who signed in and what was edited, which records the IP address an attempted sign-in came from. Both stay in the site’s own records, and I use them only to keep the site working and secure.
Ads on Google
I run ads on Google that appear when someone searches certain words. The ads are matched to the words typed, not to you. If you arrive here from one, Google records that the click led to a visit, so I can see which ads are worth paying for. I do not build lists of visitors to follow around the web with ads.
What I do not do
I do not sell, rent, or trade your information. I do not run ads on this site. I do not send marketing email from it. Nobody receives your information except the services named on this page and anyone the law requires me to give it to.
Cookies
This site does not set a cookie to follow you. Google Analytics sets its own, the booking calendar sets its own while you use it, and a video sets its own once you press play. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, the booking calendar may stop working, and you can call or email me to book instead.
Links and video
Pages here link to other websites, e.g., Google Maps and the Feldenkrais Guild. Once you follow a link, that site’s privacy policy governs, not this one. Videos on this site load nothing from YouTube until you press play. After that, YouTube can set cookies and record that you watched.
What you tell me about your health
If you tell me about pain, an injury, or a condition, whether in the booking notes, in an email, or in a session, that stays between us. I do not publish it, share it, or sell it, and I use it only to work with you. Client stories appear on this site only with the client’s permission.
I am a Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM. Feldenkrais is movement education. I am not a doctor or a physical therapist, I do not diagnose, and I do not bill insurance.
Asking me what I have
Email me and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. If I have to keep something, e.g., for tax records, I will tell you what and why.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version goes up here and the date below changes with it.
